After an early morning breakfast, head west on I-90, to Riverside Park, La Crosse, WI (4 1/2 hours). Take care to not speed at I-94N which has various speed traps and heavy fines!
Riverside Park is on Mississippi river where the rivers meet together…features bridges, fountains, ducks and simply a neat place to put your feet down and rest.
Stop here for picnic lunch. If you have time on your hands, drive north along the Mississippi river for beautiful scenery and more parks right on the river.
