I think this is one of those things where, the more you read, the more you will pick up these rules by osmosis and recognize when something just doesn’t look right. For example, I can’t see myself ever expressing $30 as ’30 dollars’. I also have a feeling I would be much more careful checking on these formats if I were still writing a lot of non-fiction. Curious if Word and Scrivener have an option to check this like they do grammar. Great post and thx again for your hard work on this.
